If its yours why did you protect it? And if it is yours why don't you just burn it again from original source? I'm assuming we are talking of audio tracks here, if so what did you use to burn it?

we are talking audio. I have got a burnt cd but out of the 3 steroes in my house none of them read cd-rs. Actually 1 does but it dont have an optical output.
I didnt mean to protect it, as in i didnt consiously do it. Any ideas on how do do it?

So you have taken a copy from the cd into media player already? Or have you just played it in media player?

If it is just a standard audio cd hows about downloading Winamp (www.winamp.com) and then choosing to output it to an mp3 file?

You end up with another copy of the CD and then you walk to the post office and post it??!!

If you don't want to download any software or convert it from the exisiting audio format I can't see any way you can send someone the files mate??
