so im im looking for something that will offer me COMPLETE protection against any stray pballs, not just padding in the area.

so anyone wear slide shorts?
what are they like, good investment?

im not to keen on cups as they dont
el to comfy when im in stressful situations

best protection is a box, but i tend to find they slip as you run....i personally go for a rolled up hand towel worn in between my slideshorts and my pants works a treat and dont get in the way, trap it under the waist of your pants and it wont move to much

Hey there, i am a marshall at my local site and am also a tourney player and i have found that a marshal arts cup is the best, it comes with a lovely jock strap but it is much more narrow than a cricket box which allows u to run with out it getin in the way, also the jock strap will hold it in place so it is always there to proctect ur valuables. I wear one for around 8/9 hours wen im marshalling and i dont even realise it is there. Hope this is of some help and i also hope it makes sense as i am very drunk and it has took me 15mins to write this

I use the Dye slide shorts, which have a soft cup built in, and they work fine. I'm pretty sure the Empire shorts have one as well. Combine them with a baggy pair of playing trousers and that absorbs nearly all the impact..for a back player anyway.
