Pros and cons ...

What are the pros and cons of :

1) Going electro with my cocker. Cost, $450

2) Getting a C&C angel for $900

I've shot both and love both ... Angel is a little quicker but I'm already used to the way my 'cocker shoots. (the shot pattern not the trigger)

Either way the next thing I buy after that is a Freak system ...

what do you guys think?

Dude,

If you love the cocker already, stick with that. What I'd do is not get an electro trigger for it, but a Bade frame AND a Freak kit in one go.
But that's just me.

hi, use whatever you think will be best for your game. I used an ir3 about a week ago and found i had to think more about how i was holding the gun than my game. If your used of a cocker id go for a super smooth custom or go elec with it.

Someone at PGI had a brilliant idea 'bout taking a stock Cocker an' customizing and electrolizing it to within an inch of its life - and then offering it as a prize to one lucky reader...so you could always wait an' try your luck.

It's not that I love the cocker ... I'm just used to how the balls fall after leaving my barrel ... and I fear that changing to a compleatly different 'gun will change how the balls fall in relation to one and other ... I have a WGP hinge, my rof is higher ... but no where near where I want it ...

I wouldn't get an ir3 (too rich for my blood) just an regular old LCD C&C. I'm just wondering if I spending the extra $450 is worth my hard earned student living at home money ...

my first summer pay check will be about $900 ... I can't wait ...

If you want the increased go for the angel, you will learn the way the marker shoots in no time, the cocker was built to be mechanical the angel was built to be an electro.

Go with an angel, you won't regret it!

Incidently I went from a cocker to an Angel.

Upside of getting an LCD is that you end up with 2 guns - if you sold your cocker you effectively only pay $500 ish for the LCD.

I have both. I hate Angels with a passion but a) they are a good new source of shiny bits for me and b) it's a necessary evil to get the ROF.

But I am wanting to get a Viking and from all accounts a Timmy gives you Angel speed and more.....

So it doesn't have to be so one or other anymore.
