Getting on in years but definitely the best gun you can buy for that price, The Ion and Vibe counterparts are not as good and the Proto series are a good £100 more expensive. You should have no problems with a promaster and there are plenty of ups for it.

Yeah its nice, but im not sure if there are any aftermarket boards but other stuff is fairly easy to find, but ive owned a promaster, and it was a nice gun :)

I bought one a week ago and used it for the first time yesterday - for the price, it's very good.

Couple of things:

Warnings:
  • Get rid of the Donkey that comes with it and put a decent ASA on it like an Eclipse OOP S.
  • People suggest getting a new barrel, but I've not played with the stock barrel besides when it was at about 320fps out of the box and it chopped some balls up (only shot 20 balls through it though)
  • It's a little hungry on air - a hopper and 2 pots will cost you 1,500psi loss.
  • Make sure you change the mode as soon as you buy it, as the default mode it ships in is Full-Auto uncapped bps!
  • Undo 8 screws to fit the battery...

Plus side:
  • It's light
  • It's fast - just make sure you take some time to adjust the trigger.
  • It's accurate - we were playing several long-ball games and it kept accurate (but then again I had an Eclipse SL barrel on it... :D)

All in all, a good buy - I bought it as a stop-gap for a few months until I can
    afford a new Etek2 :p

ye very good ,but mine seems to chop the last 1 or 2 balls in the hopper for some reason

and the my trigger doesnt make any difference when i ajust it ,

ive got an eclipse asa ,and a SP q-lock the stock one does nt fit a halo or reloader.

and got a lucky un1tec barrel there over all excellent marker for the money ,would recommend a CP reg or something the stock ones are crap.

Plus you got it in a deal from Lips so the gat worked out at something like £70 if you paid full price for everything else.
