Project GWC Alien Remains

Seen as I have a bit of paintball time on my hands at the moment and to keep myself occupied I have just picked up a poorly alien remains marker.

So this is going to be the story of the resurrection of this marker to full paint flinging glory.

All i know at the moment is there are some screw/bolts missing and it will not fire also looking at it's history it may have some leakage issues.

It arrived this morning from the seller and I have completely stripped it down to it's bare bones as it will be going to sloth for reannodizing,yep that is right it's going to be reannode before I even look at its problems:eek:.

The idea is to get it done in the style of the "Gun Whores Club" shirts so thats Dust olive with Dust black accents.

This is the start of the transformation

That was the idea.

1st job is off to sloth for a new suit and some graphics I think.

I also need a new aka threaded feedneck as the old one was super threadlocked in and I have to butcher it to remove it:(

I have ordered bud but feel free to use the design.

Tinfish did me 2 designs.

The remains will have matching stars down the side and the gunwhores chick on the side if sloth can do it:)

Right 1st problem has arisen

I cannot get a cocker barb out of the body,it just spins so that scuppers the reannoing of the main body:(

So it means a change of colour scheme to

Dust Olive

Body
Grip frame
Ultralite tip




Dust Black

Ultralite back
Eye covers
Lpr cover
Front reg monut
Ram cover
feedneck.

The main body will have the gun whores Lady and stars laser engraved on both sides aslong as sloth can do the image.

UPDATE

I have managed to get the cocker barb out of the body so it will now return to the original scheme of olive and black but I am going to have the finish changed to Gloss.

My new feedneck arrived from the states so hopefully I should be posting to down to Jamie within the next week or so.
