Hi,

Thinking about doing a complete pimping of a Diablo Mongosoe II.

My first ideas on what do to it;

• New Microswitch (25g or 50g) and one of those Angel A1 style triggers (Can't remember the name of it)
• Spyder Shocktech Top cocking bolt or Evil Timmy bolt (you have to mod it), whichever I can find cheapest and/or first
• New barrel - Freak kit maybe, possible an ultralite if I can. Barrels are spyder threaded
• Anno job. Proberly an orange and white/black fade job, might work.

I dont want to spend more than £500-800 on this...

Any ideas, im happy to hear them

I don't want to be buying any stuff people 2nd hand, so don't PM me, ill be buying off some rubbishy paintball website in the USA prob.

I know you said you dont want to buy 2nd hand, but £500 - £800 is a lot of money.
I have an Empire Barrel kit sitting round (Spyder Thread) that i used to use on my Mongoose II - also have a Mongoose II that you could use for spare parts.

So were you just wanting to P.I.M.P it out or were you looking to make it shoot faster, quieter ect?
Could Anno it a Dark Green to a lighter green and have snake scales tattooed onto it.

Totally pimp it, and make it an awesome shooter too

My mate had one of them. You had to use a bloody car attached with ropes to the trigger for it to fire

Your best bet is dump that idea and buy a decent marker and have money left over. No offence mate but you may as well throw your money into a fire.

there are plenty of better markers to base such a project on I'm sure balf could recommend one and i bet bon could recommend a different one

You can hack just about anything together with some tools and knowledge.

Saw one guy take half the back end off a shego. with very few ill effects once he sorted the obvious problem of the back end being missing.

Shego's are great projects to do, pretty simple and you end up with a great gat.

Send me the marker and I can convert it into something with ...say a shocker body,with shocker internals and extras and still have change from £800...oh yeah in green
Or just buy a better marker,for that price range there's plenty of "specials" about...

Equally, turn it into a sleeper ion or similar. Essentially gut the mongoose completely but make it look the same on the outside and drop the complete internals of an ion into it.

im embarised to say what iv spent on pimping my ion, and dont get me wrong, it looks amazing, but when i think about what i could of had...
it makes me cry

learn from others mistakes, and save your self alot of money in the process
