problems uploading photos

hi in need for some help i'm trying to sell all my kit through this site but cannont upload any photos.

here what i do i click on attachments then browse my files for the photos then click on them and then click up load but every time after a few minutes of waiting just says upload failed,

any ideas

could be too big a file size?
failing that just host them on photobucket (or simialr) and post the links?

i cant be very good at this tried posting the link for photo bucket and went to post preview clicked on the link and it comes up with unable to find..

how can i resize the photos

try using MS photo editor. go to file/properties and change to 8bit colour. might work.

or try a photo package and shrink the actual image dimensions and/or resolution
