Find out what the problem is.
Eliminate the variables, such as the inconsistancy, the problem may be the tank.
Make sure that your using you marker correctly, such as, connecting air lines loosely.
Check it many times, it may be a one time error.
If you can, have a peice of paper with all of your air specifactions, the regulator pressure, and the fps when at that pressure. This is so that if the marker isn't working right, it might be the pressure.
Check your air supply.
Check your o-rings.
Check your paint.
I hope this helps. I have seen many people getting really mad at their marker, simply because the paint was bad and didn't fit their barrel.
