it might not be the solenoid so don't go out and buy a new one just yet (that is if you can get hold of one)

first try resetting all the board settings to factory standard (dwel, first shot drop off etc)

then turn the eyes off and see if you can hear the solenoid click whilst walking the trigger

also worth taking the bolt, LPR and HPR appart and cleaning/re lubing

try this and see how you get on, should be able to diagnose wheather or not it is a solenoid problem from that

hope this helps

these three vids should helps some what, they are for the pm8 but they are similar internally so you should be able to get a sufficient knowledge from them

however it does sound like a solenoid problem, you are best off ringing one of the guys up at dye and they will be able to tell you what the best solution would be, still it is important to know how to maintain your marker, esspecially a matrix as they ideally need cleaning and relubing after every day's play

hope this helps

hey mate have u tried putting a new battery in it?
also check that the wires inside the grip are still in the right place in the sockets

does the gun leak when u air it up?
if not chances are the solinoid is ok.
make sure u have a fresh battery

Check connections at the 4 way plug from the battery clip/micro switch loom

These are a well known weak point on the DM/PM series. Constant pulling around on the battery wires soon gives poor connections. I've personally had guns turn on and off intermitantly mid game, or just not switch on at all. If it's the cause of your problem the loom and switch will need replacing at £25-30
