Prob with VL Maxis RG reg.

Hey guys,
trying to get my flatmates VL Maxis RG up and running again. It just vents CO2 through the regulator as soon as its plugged in, no matter how much you screw it in or out.
Reckon the reg. is gone, or am i doing something wrong?

If it has gone, which other reg's. will fit, and does anybody have any!!!!

Have you checked all the seals in the reg??

how long since it was last gassed up?

sounds like a dodgy seal to me, shouldnt be too hard to sort out

Hmm, yeah possibly.. The last time it worked was at Braveheart walk-on... Is it fairly easy to take apart the reg, anyone taken apart this particular one. It adjusts at the bottom with an allen key, and this is where the CO2 vents from...
