It wouldnt bother me if they had them in the slightest except i would prob get my ass mugged

however it's probably unfair but Am A is only the nest step down from pro

if it was Am b i could see how this might cause a problem..

then again i dont make the rules

This sort of stuff has been happening for ages. I wouldn't sweat it if I stepped on the field and they were on it. After all, it's just another great opportunity to play against the greats.
What IS on my mind though, are the players they are replaying. Why does this happen? Are Allstars Red players short for an event? Then it would make sense. Or are the two pros just used to score extra series points, in which case two regular players are benched to make way for Rocky and Greg? If the latter is the case, and I were one of the benched players, not only would I leave the team right then and there, but I'd consider throwing my team's captain against a wall as well. Basically the team captain, by doing this, is saying "thanks for getting us this far, but f**k you very much for now" to the two benched players. I would not have any of that.

Caffiene anyone?

Interesting question, but according to the Millennium rules it is like this....

"Players can move as many times as they wants inside their own division. Outside the division players can move up as many times as they want. If a player has moved down once, he cannot move up or down again, he will have to stay in that division for the rest of the season."

Now the question is, while the Super 7 team rankings count for Millennium rankings - does the same count for player rankings (I don't see why they wouldn't)??

If they do then Rocky & Red can move down but then they will have to stay there for the rest of the year - in the Millennium Series. But they will able to play pro again in the NPPL (checked their rule book and there doesn't seem to be naything about this subject).

If they move up again and play Super 7 pro the next tournament after Germany then I would assume that this takes them out of the Millennium all together - because they can't move back up, and by playing pro after Amateur they did somehting against Mill. rules

Hmmm

Sounds interesting I think they badly need something like this but I dunno how will the two Pros fit into the picture...

But on the other hand I find this kinda stuff quite controversial since their results will not show the teams real power but the "inflated" strength. Let them measure themselves on their own, with enough money anyone can attract "guest" pro's and sweep the floor with the opposition.

...or that is the way to go??

Hey there Gosse ole' Buddy. Well, from the way I understand it, the only two millenniums that will play of any importance in the NPPL standings are Toulouse and Campaign. There are 5 Super 7's and then the two milleniumms that count. The team can choose their best 5 out of the 7 tournaments to go toward series standings.

Yo Chip Baby...

how's it goin' back in the "world"?

What I meant was, that since a team who plays pro in the Millennium is considered a pro team in the Super 7 and vice-versa. What about players who play pro in one league first? Are they then considered pros in that league too?

I guess what I am trying to say is, that is just a matter of timing. If the leagues don't share player rankings, then technically Rocky could play the first tournament as an Am, and then move "up" to pro level for the next tournament. As opposed to being classified as a Pro (at Huntington) and then "moving down" to play Am in Germany. He then wouldn't have any moves left to go back to pro.

Chatch my drift?
