Any chance of activating these? wondering if this would solve problems(like Nick had in the "Wheres my post..." thread in the tourney section)

i know Jack about websites so i don't know if this is feasible or not. just think it might cut out waste of time posts to threads and clear up the boards a bit (or does it just move unwanted traffic from one place to another,retaining web gurus headaches?)

i think he means instant messaging, that would be so much easier to do rather than post all the time. Think about it, you could talk 2 who ever you wanted.

We use PMs on our forum(see web address in sig) and they work really well, the trouble i find with mails is that i've sometimes deleted and ignored mails coz i didn't recognise the name of the sender and thought it was junk(or a virus!) with a PM you get 'em whenever you log on to the forum,easy.
the other trouble with mails is that often people post here just to let the person they are mailing know that they have sent them a mail! therefore clogging up more topics with pants posts which are irrelevant to anyone but the person they are mailing....phew!

anyway, is it feasible or not?

chat room is a good idea,but only if the person you want to contact is in the chat room aswell,not really a solution to the problems.
