Hi there

Due to lots of request, we've decided to release the first 5min of The Russian Campaign as a preview. Click here
to see it

Its 20MB so not best suited for 56k modems.

Please feel free to pass it round. As the UK's only dedicated paintball DVD company, we need the support of the UK community to get word about.

All the best

Hey Carl / Pressure,

DVD Looks great but has just been released for the 2004 Campaign Cup.

Not trying to be negative but look at it this way, would you buy a DVD now of high lights from Euro 2004 football or expect it on the shelf within days / weeks of the tournament ending.

If this DVD was available in a time frame even remotely similar it would sell far more copies than it will with its current release.

Just my opinion, look forward to your reply.

Thanks for the positive message there Marco but I'll answer your query because I believe it needs answering.

We are aware that its taken too long but we a self-funded, independent film company with no industry ties or sponsorhsip (hence the lack of advertising in our films).

What we do try and do is make a great film, regardless of the year, tournament etc. Anyone who has bought our titles can testify to the amount of work thats gone into them in terms of script, style, editing, music etc which I do not believe is matched by many any other paintball DVD producers out there. Its not like Europe is overwhelmed by great Euro DVDs. A good paintball DVD is a good paintball DVD regardless of when it comes out.

Your Euro 2004 analogy doesn't apply when you consider that Euro 2004 will already have been seen by millions worldwide at the time so a release of a DVD 18months later would of course be ridiculous. However only 1000 people were at Campaign 04 out of an audience of millions. Do the rest not deserve to see highlights of the one and only season of Euro X-ball there'll ever be? The rise of the Russian's into the awesome team they are today? The US getting kicked around on UK soil for once? I don't agree and neither does anyone who has so far bought and enjoyed the DVD. A paintball fan surely loves good paintball- its like saying no-one ever watches any of their old DVDs because essentially they are out-of-date. No-one watches HB03? If thats the case why is it still selling.

I suppose it comes down to if you want to see X-ball or if you want to see 7 Man from 05. Here's a quote from a review of The Russian Campaign by Jon Forsberg of Powertrip on a Swedish forum: "There is 7-man on the dvd but its about as exciting to watch as watching paint dry when compared to x-ball." I think that about sums it up for me.

If in the future we get the full support of the community and they enjoy our product then we will be able to turn things around quicker. If people sit around saying there's no decent DVDs out there but when one comes along, decide to ignore it or BitTorrent it then they only have themselves to blame for the generally poor quality of much of the paintball DVD market.

We're trying to make a difference as the ONLY UK based paintball DVD company. Get behind us and look at the positives- thats whats going to help us in the long run.
