I have an angel speed and i am fed up of having my large bulky angel air reg on it. Does anyone use a preset on one? What is the difference in performance? Which preset to go for?

I have also heard of wdp doing a preset has anyone got one or heard the same?

Please help i can't sleep at night to many questions going round my head:confused:

What ever preset you go for you must ensure that the output pressure is correct for your marker, so you will need a low pressure output preset (450psi), I know that both WDP and PMI Europe can supply these regs. I personnally use a WDP preset on both my A4 and my Joy Fly (as soon as Mr Postman delivers it today!) and have installed them on many markers, good reliable systems with a really nice graffiti bottle (5 year test) and loc socks to boot.

the only difference is that you can adjust the output pressure on the A.I.R. reg whereas your stuck with 450 output psi on the preset. depending on your setup either a good or bad thing....

i prefer the preset as it's way lighter.

WDP, LPS, SPC and mnay others stock the regs and bottles

hmm, just thought i'd mention (just in case)....remeber that you do need a bottom line ASA for the WDP preset and all other screw in presets for that matter.

If you have a speed its doubtful you'll already have one of these lying around.

not that it matters now, but Crossfire makes an excellent LP pre-set and Nitro Duck makes a very reasonably priced screw in adjustable tank (the X-Stream) that works great on the Speed.

i THINK wdp make one, give em a ring and ask them (saw it on the A4 fly video). Might as well get the matching set on your speed.

Idealy you need an ASA with an on/off that shifts the bottle a touch forward. That way you can keep it compact and it will easy to keep your wrist inline on the space frame. Have a look at www.planeteclipse.com i think there is a rather natty WGP asa that looks rather nice.
