preset prob

how do i get the preset off my fibre wrapped bottle without damageing it,
thought about heating it up but want to ask the experts first

run very hot water on the neck of the bottle for a while, then get a friend to hold the bottle (clever bit), and undo the reg when the loctite has softened.

ive tryed that but it wont budge!!
also tried a hair dryer to no effect
its an evil 1.1 hp red preset

Soak it for a good while, you'll have to apply a fair bit of pressure to break the seal
