Just like wot the title says.
I think my old Govnair 3000psi system is now a bit past it, going by th hushed whispers of " get a 4500 system" when the H Pac guys stop filling bottles to let you get off their rig.
So is it possible to put a preset air system on to an Automag RT or would I have to get some sort of inline reg?

Thanks for any help or advice.

most pre-sets are 800 psi output, with will make a large amount of rt's bounce like a bitch, not to good for tourneys.

i'd think you'd need a reg.

A pre-set would be fine for a RT (as long as it's a 800psi rather than 450psi output), although like DB said, the higher the input pressure the greater the reactivity of the valve (which isn't a problem), but there's a higher possibility of getting runaway (which is a problem).

Easy one to solve if you do - slap a level 10 kit on it - they need higher input pressures to work properly and don't tend to get silly runaway until 900-950psi.

I run a 4500psi PMI pure energy on my E-mag and it's great in manual/E/hybrid.

just to confirm what the guys have said really, i run(or ran since i got a flatline) a PMI fixed reg on my RT and it was ok, had no problems and once i got the level 10 fitted it ran even sweeter. i think the PMI was fixed at 850 i can't remember.
not ideal but will work ok never the less.

If you speak to the guys in my sig, they will sell you a Melee, reg which they can set at say 750 psi or whatever if you like...but as someone has allready said..you need level 10, and this will help prevent excesive bounce...you really need level 10...
mail me and i will send you a sound file of my RT doing 18 BPS! no sh1t!
