I have recently got a Cheetah Halo board V3, but I have been having troubles calibrating it.

I hold the button and the LED turns white (As manual)

Upon release the LED turns Amber and the Halo spins, but only for a couple of seconds and then stops and nothing else happens

Am I doing something wrong?

The eyes have been cleaned and there is no paint in the Halo

I have noticed one of the battery wires has got slightly squashed, could this be the problem?

Any ideas?

can't think what the lights mean without the manual infront of me and stuff ... but i found that the cheetah is abit finnicky with its batteries. try changing the batteries to new ones (not rechargables).

could be a problem with the eyes? check the eyes are working properly. not a big fan of the bounce beam of the halo, but the cheetah board is really nice!!! get it working!! =)

Eye holes need to be clean as well as the eyes themselves.

Make sure that the eyes are not bad in any case. (stick pinki up feedneck hole, loader should stop feeding!)

I have heard of issues with the battery cable being crimped. (apparantly cheetah's require a lot of current. If the cable is crimped then current may not be able to get through?)

BRAND NEW BATTERIES!

Thanks guys, all points tried but no joy:confused:

Waiting for a new motor/wire set from planet. (Apparently there can be a issue with some Halo Motors) And that should sort the crimped wire problem too.

Cheers
