Powerplay - Walk on Day

After discussions with several players and other sites it has been decided to run a walk on day at the Wakefield site (venue for this years Staargate game) on Sunday 13 November. I appreciate it is the same day as other walk ons but these are in the south and therefore we should not compete for players.

The event is backed by Atmosphere, Severe paintballs and Fat Bobs on line store.

Cost £25 BYO including air and Co2, tea, coffee and lunch or £47.50 including a box of 2000 paintballs. Paintballs can be purchased on site and it is hoped if sufficient numbers book in we will have a couple of trade stands.

As i went to staargate, and thought the site was awesome, i might be tempted to come to this..

can someone tell me though..

What exactly is a "walk on??"

What is involved

Walk on day - Powerplay

Own kit players mainly but you get the occasional rental player who is moving into the own equipment area but has to borrow a bit of site kit.

Games are roughly what would be played by our customers except we will have bigger playing areas and some form of re insertion (still to be decided) If you played staargate then a typical game could be the Pyramid to the alpha base as the two start points. The games will probably be 30 mins so maybe 6-8 in a day

Lunch will be included. Air and Co2 will be provided. Site paint can be purchased or BYO

The size of game areas and formats will vary depending on the numbers who book places.

its not fair i live bout 3 hours away roughly whee is the stargate site if any1 lives in the cambridgeshire area who wants to go il drive so car sharing

im over 5 hours away.. but it is an awesome site, and well worth the effort..
