Anyone got one, and if so hows does it perform. Only ever used Dye barrels but these seem to be getting pretty good write ups. Just wanted an opinion from people who are actually using them before I go to Pheonix on Friday and choose a new barrell. :)

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

I have one and it shoot great, it shoots just as well as my .688 boomy (with a good match, they both can be .688 as the inserts are every .002) I got the 5 sleave kit (.684-.692), I've used all but the .690.

This is a great system, I'm glad I bought it and i can't speak highly enough of it.

I'm really interested to hear about this barrel as I'd like to get one, but I spoke to a guy at Planet about whether they would be stocking them and he voiced converns over quality control (ie, paint chipping off).

So, please post any objective views here! :D

The sceptres aren't painted. They're anodised and mine is fine.

The only problem i've had is they screw tighter as you fire them (as opposed to the dye which seem to unscrew) and on occasion its proved bloody difficult to remove the back section.

I've had that 'problem' too. It's the only barrel that doesn't wiggle loose with out an oring I've ever seen. But it can get really hard to get off some times.

the QC of every barrel system i saw at IAO and World cup was great.
