The prices are in dollars though and what something costs in dollars doesn't necessarily mean it costs the exact same as what a currency converter churns out, in pounds, retail. The prices are around $60, that's roughly £30 but we all know it is not going to be sold anywhere near that, retail over here, it'd be closer to the $ amount than the £ equivelant (sp?).

Stupid question on the surface, maybe not so now :D

Just do 1 of two things
1) Go on paypal, type send money 60 dollars and it should say money in £
2) Go to checkout on that website and it might tell you it in pounds ... also look for a currency link on the site

Hope this helps :D

The price in dollars at retail then converted will NOT be the price charged retail in the U.K., that's my point! $60 equates to £30 (ish) but no retail store will charge that. Compare prices in dollars, converted to what U.K. stores are charging for the same product.

Well considering they don't have UK site, don't have any UK dealers listed on their site, their forum link doesn't work and the only thing that shows up when you search for a powerlyte body within the UK is a thread on WOZ, then I think it's safe to say that they just don't retail in the UK.

www.xe.com is a good up to date currency exchange site.

So figure figure out what you want, add a ton of shipping to the UK, pop it into xe.com and voila, you get a rough figure.

Often stuff in the states will sell for a premium if their not available over here depending on the demand.

Crumpler had one of their bodies a while back.
