Hi, It looks like im going to have to sell all my kit, im just running out of money. I was thinking, How much should i charge for postage on an invert mini in its case? and am I going to have to pay for recorded? it looks like really expensive to send things like that but people I see charging like 5 pound for postage :/

Also, if you're sending air tanks, can you just put them in a box with loads of padding and then send them? last time mine came with stickers on sayin "do not put on airplane" and all that.

cheers

any gat should ideally be sent Special delivery, this gives you a high insurance and means that the recipient will get it the next day, it cost me about £20 when i did it with an Etek so probs a tiny bit more for the mini in its case

Take it somewhere like fedex or parcel line, they will weigh it and let you know how much it will cost to send. Insurance is most times included with next day deliverys.

I was just thinking of taking it to the post office, do people never send like that? And my bottle, I will empty it, then can i just put it in a box and send it normally?

Royal mail at the post office is fine. It's how i send everything :)

Just ask for FIRST CLASS RECORDED AND INSURED i think it covers anything up to £500, so your mini is fine ;)

Expect it to be £10 - £20 for the marker :)

Yeah make sure the bottle is unpressurised (ie. No air inside) and padded with bubble wrap etc.

Cost me £21 to send my marker recorded insured guaranteed nxt day by royal mail. No problems and you can use track and trace and even see the signature of the person who accepted it.

I think if it reaches beyond a certain weight / size the price almost doubles.

As i sent an Ego8 for £8 ... 2 weeks later i sent a cocker of a fairly similar weight and size (slightly heavier) and it cost me £22.

OK.

Please remember, that when you send something to someone that they have paid for, it IS YOUR JOB, to get it to them.

So if you bung some stamps on it and it never arrives...you have to give them their money back.

If you send it "Signed For", you are covered up to about £33 and you can track it after a fashion, but if it don't arrive...you have to give them the money back.

What you should do is send it special delivery.

Over about 2 kilo's, it costs £20, but that covers you up to 10 kilo's.

You are covered up to £500, or you can pay extra for cover to £1k or £2k.

Send it Special Delivery and charge them the postage.
