Me and my team will fly from Israel to the world cup in Toulouse.
My team buddys will have a direct flight to France, I on the other hand will fly via England.
Is there any problem to bring my equipment ( tank, marker )with me?
I know that there isn't any problem on the flight from Israel but i am just not sure what the britts are up to concerning security on flights.
I'd appreciate an answer from someone that flys often and has some experiance in air travel with paintball equipment.
Robbo, any input?

Most airports are now well aware of paintball and paintball markers, the best piece of advice I can give you is to always carry a copy of paintball magazine (preferably PGI) in your hand luggage as this is the best way to illustrate what you are carrying when trying to explain to somebody who is not acquainted with our sport.
Always put all your paintball hardware in your suitcases and declare the contents (armed with a magazine) at your primary check in point, in this case presumably Tel Aviv.
Appropriate security tags will then be attached to your bags after passing screening. The worst thing you can do is not to declare and not to carry a magazine and this goes for all people within your travelling party.

If you are just flying in / out of the UK and not staying then you need do no more than I have suggested but if you are staying over and then need to check in again with your baggage at Gatwick or Heathrow then you will need to repeat the procedure in England.

Hope this helps and hopefully see ya in Toulouse !
