No point answering this thread coz it goes against Mannings no - nonsense approach to threads with nowt to do with pball.
I wont even bother spamming ere.

Lol

Well you can whitter about paintball and get a reputation as fluffy and annoy every one, you can put up serious threads and get them ignored or you can just post as you feel and were you can add to the thread.:)

Post counts make it more addictive when you first start you also get an idear of how long or how activly some one dose post.

Hence when newbies put up some dribble or some thing in- aporpriate we can tell they are new and some lee way is given.

Or you can become a mod and have as many stars as you like.

Post counts are only relivant whilst you have comparativly few once you have just one or two like my self, Budda and Rooster. I can only speack for my self I think I would miss my stars but post count is irelivant after a while.

Stars now there's one every one always asks about!

Also the ability to modify your profile.

These are all site marketing tools to ensure you get hooked and it becomes part of your life and a habit 90 days is more than enough by then your hooked.

post counts stars ect all help a means to an end;)
