Congratulations guys!
I think that the UK teams prove that they have a very competitive and agressive style of play. I enjoyed very much marshalling those teams. Very educated and correct.

P.S. K2: You guys rock!! Outstanding!! Very agressive!! A very good team. Congratulations ;)

The entire Tournament started off as a bit of a joke, nothing went to plan at all and the organisation was seriously lacking. But, it did eventually unfold into quite a cool event. The fields were f'kin awesome, really well set out so you could actually play them. We had some heavy duty fun busting up the 50s with a newly fired up Machine, I think this is the start of a new and improved K2. Our result definately does not reflect our performance.

The marshalling was good enough to not really cause any problems (a little slow at times but....) we did think there would be some serious biased decisions and maybe a little extra help for the local teams but from what I saw it was fair enough. We find that if you're nice to them, they'll be nice right back. Great job guys.

Well done to all the UK teams that did the business out there. Big up the Jerseys for finishing in the top 3 (AM A), there were definately some talent playing in that division. I've got my eye on the Trolls for superstar status, awesome team. Big up Inferno for busting up AM B and winning it, great result. Phoenix did well too, their first proper outing I think. Also a big up to Smart as a Carrot who did the business i their division too. Oh, thanks to Hugo from Estratego for being such a cool guy, shame we couldn't meet you in the final game.

Finally a HUGE blast off to my boys, THE MACHINE. We seem to have found our old agression again only much more controlled and, well, much more dangerous to be honest. Only dropping 10 bodies out of 13 maxes is quite a good dose of consistency. It was a shame that losing the one game sent us from 1st placed AM A going into the finals to 5th. Soooooo close.

JJ, Gilly, 7lash, Okeymon, Latham and of course, my good self, played awesome all weekend so we should pat ourselves on the back.

Anyway, enough about us :D

WHUUUUUTT!!

I agree with Flash great tourny with good marshals. K2 were so unlucky not to qualify well done to Inferno for winning Am B and on a personal note, what a brilliant result for the Jersey Warriors first time playing in this line up and place 3rd in Am a!!!!!!! It seems as though some people are forgetting we are British also. :) :)

Thanks Al

Your words were the right ones in the right moment, we were really down after our last game ;) . But the Jerseys were the best team on the field. They've got the prize they deserved.

K2 ruled, and you were awesome all weekend long. Didn't believe you didn't pass to the finals. A case of bad luck.

Hope to see you next year or something...

Cheers

We were watching quite a few of your games and you guys were looking sweeeeet. I was half looking forwards to maybe playing against you and half concerned in case you ripped us.

The Jerseys deserved their gold. They played solid all weekend and played their game well (should have been us though :D )

Estratego Kids played a great game and proved they were true finalists. We ran through them on the Saturday without a loss but they obviously wanted payback. And got it.

You playin the Campaign Cup over here in London?

Unfortunately we don’t have in our schedule, time ($$$) for Campaign Cup.
We just planned to attend megacampeonato this year (our first millennium series event), maybe next year. ;)

Maybe we'll get some break in our schedule. :D :D :D

Cheers

Hi Al Woods,

it was a shame not playing against you guys in the final. You were the strongest team in the tournament.
Thanks for everything. ;)
