Am I the only one who thinks that the increase of manufacturers entering into the "high end performance at entry level price" market i.e, ION, Epiphany, Rail, E-TEK is set to leed an increase in the uk paintball community.

If so do we not need a UK movement to support sup' air over here???? Or be me just thick

I don't think it will make much difference?
You can buy a cheap gun but if you can't afford the paint then we gain no-one.
Organisational wise....british paintball is a shambles, in fact it's a shambles world wide which is why it will never grow as a sport.
There are so many leagues and governing bodies and yet none of them can agree, so we end up with a situation like boxing where you have 5 heavyweight champions of the world:confused:
It sad that we can't get on and all play in one format by one set of rules world wide.
As for the uk
what about the ukpsf?

On the other hand you are seeing more companies making more stuff for the rec ball market now.....

owning a supair site have noticed a change to some people going back to the woods and some people saying that they prefer to play rec ball....

i think that the big companies have seen how well kingman have made low end markers and made them big players in the sport and selling a shed load of guns so it make sense that other companies are going to follow suit makes good business sense...

o maybe i don't know what i am on about its been known

There does seem to be more and more sup air sites setup though, Snetterton, D7's, Northern Quarter which make tourny play much more accessible to new players.

In norfolk we have the best of both worlds now 2 walkon sites and a decent supair field now but still have a lack of players but the base here does seem to be growing
and new cheaper guns can only help and on the plus side it forces the 2nd hand prices of the higher end guns down good for people like me who prefer to get a bargin

but did buy new this time
