Hi guys,

Aired up my Etek 3 on Sunday morning and the POPS was leaking through the front air attachment. I took it off and replaced it with the stock OOPS and it was fine all day (same macroline).

Any ideas as to what may have caused this? The POPS was fine on the Saturday.

When you say leaking through the "front air attachment" do you mean the fitting itself?

The straight fittings on the POPS do not need to be Loctited in, they simply require tightening using the correct size allen key that fits in the middle of the fitting (when no hose is in place). If teh leak was coming from the hose, then check that the o-ring inside the fitting is not damaged (or missing) and replace the hose if necessary.

Hi Nicky,

thanks for the response. Sorry about my delay in replying but i wanted to get hold of some macroline to test it.

Anyway in the process it is clear that the fitting I was referring to had in fact come a bit loose. I tightened it back up and now it seems fine.

So if it happens to anyone else then that may be the reason.
