Is the MS website not showing the full list or is that all the teams playing! because after the last 2 rounds it appears quite a low number of teams! Or don't any of those lovely continental folk fancy playing in the rain?;)

It's not the European teams - it's the locals.

The M5 is particualrly worrying as this is designed for the smaller teams to get a taster of a larger event with a seeing system that ensure people of the same levl play against eachother. This division in every other country has been fully booked at 60 teams. In Germany I am told that there were 19 on the waiting list.

At the moment it looks like we're gonna get a pasting from the Germans & French on our own soil - no no disrespect to our Euro Friends but I am surprised we're letting that happen as a nation.

And what is worse is that the pressure will be on the Millenium to move the event to a country that can field the teams required to make the event a large spectacle. This could be the last Campaign Cup as we know it. I hope not but we will see.

What other M5 teams, or other teams are yet to sign up. REGISTRATION CLOSES TOMORROW!!

This is upsetting news Spike. I hope this motivates people to get their arses into gear and register themselves.

I and my team Volatile will be playing in M5 and this is our FIRST season together as a team. Hopefully we should set an example for the people umming and arring over entering.

Get booked in and play ball on a better level (even if its just M5!) do something to make us look like a nation that cares about our ball!

I would be very upset to see this event disappear off next years calender as it was the first event that I saw proper paintball being played and made me inspired to play the sport to the best of my capabilities. Thankfully I've found a family that is looking to do the same and I'm enjoying, learning, developing my playing skills and also developed as a person.

Get down the milleniums it will open your eyes to how paintball should be! and thats a sport!

Don't fear competition ... learn ... gain knowledge ... conquer.

there used to be 2 millenniums in the UK back in the day didnt there?
mayhem and campaign....

the beauty about campaign is the no plane ticket to pay out !!
they cant get rid of it surely ! going to make it harder for the commited english teams to play the series.

the majority of teams wont survive but there would be the most committed ballers still doing the series for the love of the sport.

taking away campaign would put paintball in the UK on its arse for good.

and as Twizz as mentioned elsewhere

Paintball in the UK ... RIP - IF something isn't done to stop poor turn outs.

What annoys me so much is the amount of agro I have had trying to get the council to let us use the local park and at the same time as the Music Festival. The council are quoting turn outs of 30,000 people for that event alone over Saturday & Sunday.

The council are worried that our spectacle will attract more people than their festival although they have already said that they want us back next year. It's a shame our ballers don't feel the same.

This should be everyones goal in British Tournament ball - Winning Campaign. That's what it was like at the time of the Mayhem Masters - we all wanted to get on that podium and hold our fingers up mouthing "number 1".

On another vein I have it on good authority that the Refs for this event will receive a severe talking to regarding unnecessary calls. That seems to be a complaint of a lot of people and although in some cases a call is just there needs to be a line drawn.

Maybe this is part of the reason Spike?

Lack of accomodation or maybe a perception that it could be difficult?

Also the venue may be seen as a step down from Palace?

I would also say that if the judging recently hasnt put players off then they need their heads testing! Severe talking to? It needs a cultural shift!

Spike, if this is the state of uk Ball, its got pathetic.

You and the millenium board by what has been promised have given the Uk ball community something to both look forward to and be proud of. Me personally I cant wait.

And when people say its too expensive imho that is a big cop out, Yeah i spent around £700 quid at campaign 05 the mast majority of it went on beer.

Play M5 guys, 5 in a team £80 entrance each, 6 of you £65 each. paint shouldnt be more than about £50 or £60, so at max, £140 in paint and entrance, that aint that bad in my opinion.

Me I cant wait, and look forward to seeing any british baller on the M5 field, and I stopped playing god knows how long ago but this is Campaign.

Get your arses into gear and register.

1. Lack of accomidation is a problem i just tried looking fro a hotel as a couple of weeks ago southend and basildon south both had rooms not anymore, romford or even dartford little bit of a pain.

2. Me personally, i thought that crystal palace sucked, you couldnt see any of the fields if you were a spectator bat cpl once the netting got blown down. cars being broken into every 2 mins. and many other things. Nec imo was way better alright not as prestigious, not as many people watching but as a ballers point of view in playing and watching lot better set up and nowt got nicked.

3. dont really want to get into the reffing havnt seen it yet this season.
