I am looking to polish a gun and am looking for decent polishes are there any suggestions and techniques?

Could you not just use normal polish? as long as you buffed it up well lol..........

As phil boy says, give lump a PM, he sent me a pot of some lilac paste????? made my dull silver gun come to life.
