Pmr Ultralight frame problem :(

I have recently managed to get my hands upon a UL frame for my PMR 07. however there is a problem with it. It works well for the first 30- 40 shots then it stops cycling, it sounds as though the solenoid is not operating properly. compared to the click it makes when you try it without air it sounds well a little half hearted and the bolt does not move at all . I was wondering if anyone has came across this problem before?

All the settings are factory default

Try another one, they can sometimes come flat even when brand new .. If not give the reg a proper lubing up and clean.

Not really up on my Dye / Proto markers, but may help :)

What are the settings on the UL frame board? dwell, etc...

And i would try it with a fresh battery mate, i have seen a dud battery reduce many men to tears after spending hours trying to find why their marker isn't working. :D

Hi

Check that the dwell is set to 25ms. The board in the UL frames comes with the dwell set at 18. Also, check that the bolt kit is screwed all the way in, as it can unwind itself if it is not screwed all the way in.

If you need any more assistance, e-mail me; eurotech@dyeprecision.com

Thanks

If you go on fleabay you can pick up a cheap multi-meter for about £6 which will enable you to check battery voltage levels. For the amount of batteries you chuck thinking they are knackered when in fact they are good, this will pay for itself very quickly.

Also, I only use duracell plus and every battery I get out to put in my marker I check. I've never ever had a duff one. If you are using a quality battery and it is indeed new then I doubt your battery is the problem.

Re: your PMR. After setting the dwell and battery, if your still having probs re-connect your old frame (you dont have to take off the ul, just connect the wires) and see if it works like that, and if it does then it is something in the ul, if it doesnt then it is something in your marker, such as lube, o-rings, velocity, such forth.
