pmr problem!!!

i bought a new pmr camo edition 3 weeks ago and all was going fine until yesterday at my first walk on with the gun.

i have put 2 cases of paint through the gun with no problems, but all of a sudden and for no apparent reason the gun will fire but the ball will just fall out the end of the barrel.

it then fails to fire next ball at all but sounds like it still trying almost like its blocked.

I turned the velocity up slightly and it fires but still not correctly, chrono readings differed between 260fps and 340fps over 10 shots.

I have greased the bolt, changed the o rings on bolt and reg, new battery and i cant see any problems what so ever.

The gun is at stock settings and completely standard.

Any help appreciated, got another walk on this coming sunday and desperate to get it sorted by then.

might be the detents, would be quick for them to wear down but maybe change them

pmr problem.

The weather was over cast on sunday but it didnt rain, paint was fine in the barrel, put the pmr barrel on my slg and it fired perfect with the same paint!

reset the settings maybe try another pmr internals make sure everything is lubed correctly and a fresh battery and then see what happens

pmr problem.

will give it a try tomorrow with resetting the settings again, and let you know how i get on.

hopefully that will sort it as i have no access to another pmr to test/swap parts with!

have you tested after stripping it down?? on my pmr the bolt cap used to vibrate loose and did exactly what you are describing might have been that

I stripped it down this afternoon and greased and reassembled, I managed to get a hopper of paint through it before it started playing up!

how did you sort your pmr out or was it a one off thing with yours?

just had to keep tightening it up just make sure it doesnt have any excess lube on it if it starts off fine then start after a hopper or 2 i recon chances are its that have a look at it now see you can turn it with your fingers

Only put it back together a couple of hours ago so havent had a chance to see if it is that. Bit late to test it outside now!

Will give it a go tomorrow, and hope for the best.

Would that explain the velocity being all over the place?
