PMR problem

ok the problem is every time i air up my pmr it just leaks out of the back and shoots nothing.
and im not the only one with some problems, 2 other pmr's on our team have gone down on the same weekend with differnt problems 1 is fixed the other is being sent down to dye this week, im trying 2 avoid sending mine if i can fix it for my self and dont want to bother the guys down there if if just something simple,
me and two other more experianced team mates that also own pmr's have taken mine apart and can see nothing wrong with it, all the o rings are in place and its well lubed up
if you can sugest anything i would be greatfull thanks

Hi

Try checking the following things...

1 - Check that the bolt assembly is inserted properly and screwed in all the way. Remember to line up the grub screw on the manifold with the groove in the body of the gun when inserting the bolt kit. If you are finding that the bolt assembly is unscrewing itself whilst you are shooting then replace the 018 o-ring on the back cap for an 020 sized o-ring, this can be found in your spares kit.

2 - Check that the Hyper2 regulator is set properly. De-gas the marker, and using a 3/16" allen key wind the brass adjuster clockwise until it stops turning to set the reg to zero. Then, wind the adjuster 3 full turns in the opposite direction (anti clockwise). Obviously you will have to adjust to chrono accordingly.

3 - Check that the 009 boost o-rings on the bolt stem are in good condition, if after both of the previous checks the air is still leaking then change these two o-rings and the 020 oring at the rear of the manifold.

Have you still got the plastic back cap in?? if so just get it changed for the alloy one that should solve your problem mate.
its quite a common problem i believe .
a guy on our team had the same problem new back cap sorted it

Reaper - I had the same issue but never had air come out, just needed to re tighten by hand. I think Rustys issue is more in depth

But Rusty do get a alloy back cap as reaper said they are a winner

Probably just the Hyper2 reg is set too low. Go through Ash's instructions to find out what the issue is and let us know.

ok iv done everything ash has sed and iv still got the problem i cant find anything wrong at alll.
to the people who have had this problem with air coming out the back cap and the marker not shooting at all will the alloy back cap solve this, its the only thing i can think of.
got 1 last thing that ash suggested is to replace the 009 orings are these the BN 09 orings that are on the bolt and are the number 8 on the rail bolt o-ring list in the manual on page 9?? i will do this tonight and get back to you all.

If you have changed all the bolt o rings and stiil havin the prob then treat ya self to an alloy back cap or if you know someone close to you who has one try puttin the allow back cap on your gat and see if it stops it.

ok will and thanks for the help so are the o-rings i sed are they the right ones to replace dose 009 = the BN 09 o-rings in the manual?

just a thought but have you changed any settings ? check your dwell is set right
