Okay, i have the pmr in PSP mode, over the chrono i noticed it will only fire at 10bps.

Later with no paint or air (just with the solenoid ticking)
With the eyes on and my finger in the breach - doesn't sound any faster.
With the eyes off - sounds like it almost doubled in speed.

Are my eyes deceiving me??

Also, if PSP and Millennium mode are capped at 15bps (roughly, or 15.4, whatever) whats the point of being able to up the rate of fire if its capped?

Bournemouth.
If you put your finger in the breech, it'll think there's an eye fault and will cap the ROF. This is because the eyes don't see the an empty breech in between shots the software assumes that the eyes aren't working/dirty.

Could be your loader, make sure that the batteries are new and fresh.

Otherwise, clean your eyes as if they are clogged with paint the gun will be in constant eye-fault mode, capping the ROF.

It sounds like it is operating in 'safe mode'

Try cleaning your eyes and replacing the battery.

The Max ROF adjustment only applies to when you have the eyes off in PSP and Millennium mode, and is applied to both eyes on and off when the marker is in semi.

Seems to make sense (ish)

I'll give it a go n see what happens.

Would it make a difference what colour paint i'm using? I thought i had read somewhere that some eyes have difficulty seeing certain colour paints.

I also keep getting barrel breaks with the eyes on, any ideas?

dont know if pmr is like a dm with dip switch ,if it is increase rate of fire and trigger sensitivity also if dwell is to high it takes longer to charge between shots which will slow your fire down. read your manual and revert back to stock setting then adjust from there... also if battery is to low it will have a effect on your guns performance. hope this helps some
