Ok so i have a proto pmr with almost all upgrades apart from ultralight grips
But, i recently discovered the screw was missing from the part where the air tank screws in, so that the air tank and whole thread part movesback and forth with a bit of force, does this affect the marker in anyway? like air leaks. And if i have an air leak, should i unscrew most parts, replace the o-rings and try again? There is nothing wrong with the air tank itself
Also, if i turn the velicioty to full clockwise, how many whole turns should I turn it back to set it for woodsball?
And, at most should i go back to the guy i bought it off, who ive been back to once already to try sort the regulator out,?

Thanks in advance if you can help!
and plz dont all say go get it checked out

If I am correctly understanding what you have written, then you have a leak right?

Its hard to diagnose this without knowing where the leak is coming from and when the leak started (i.e. after you took the marker apart or changed the velocity settings, etc).

The likelyhood is that the leak is caused by something really simple and can be resolved very easily.

What you need to do is stop asking loads of questions and post up exactly what the problem is so you can get some decent advice.

And what is wrong with the suggestion of having a tech look at the gun for you? If you have one local, this is surely the easiest way to get the problem sorted and that tech might just be able to teach you a few things and answer all those questions you have.

I'm guessing that the screw in the bottom of the grip frame that secures the ASA (Where the air screws in) is missing. The answer is, in the short term no, in the long term it may put undue stress on the grip frame/asa and will effect the stability of your set-up.

Contact a Dye retailer for a replacement screw.

Ive read the manual, yeah i forget the part names all the time, yes the asa moves along the rail freely, it probably was me messing with the velocity, but now whenever what seems to happen, is i turn up the velicioty to where it should be at, and air starts leaking from around the regulator/trigger. I will try and just call the guy to help me out.

this could be expensive if you have aired it up when the velocity screw is all the way out i hope you havent but if you have the noid will have gone and my pmr i had had a leak from the trigger and it was the noid the asa moving is easy just take the grips of and there will be a hole at the bottom of the grip frame just tighten it up and the will sort that
