PMR Back Cap Fitting!

Hi guys, sorry about this nooby question!

but i have just bought a PMR and after using it and getting used to it i thought id take the bolt out and have a look. I unscrewed the bolt and the ****ty bolt cap came out of the bolt!!and now i cant get it back in.

Also the o ring came out and i dont know if that goes inside the back of the bolt where the cap goes in or around the cap??iv looked at pictures which suggest it goes into the bolt, but it does not fit flush??any help on how to fit it back on would be greatly recieved. I have a metal cap coming tommorow to.

Ok first dont panic. The back cap comes off a lot, actually its ment to, so dont worry. You see the end of the bolt where you first pull it out, where the back cap came from? Well just give the back cap good push back into where it came from and it will go back in eventually.

Now onto the o-ring. Have you taken apart the bolt at all or did you just slide it out?

Because that would help me identifying where it came from. Also if you have all what came with your PMR handy, there should be a little piece of white card in there that tells you the names of different o-ring sizes and lets you match them. So get that piece of card, put the oring over the pictures and see what picture it fits. Then post the oring name. Then i will be able to help you out from where it came from.

IMPORTANT
Once you have sorted your problem be carefull when placing the bolt back in, its nothing complicated its just that make sure you line up the grub screw with the indented groove along the bottom of the chamber or it wont work.

If you don't align them properly, you can jam the manifold against the thread the back cap mates against.

Either that or you can refer to the manual and find its the BN16 which oddly doesn't come with the spares you get with the marker.
