PMR 07 Shim Stack Question

Just a quick question to ask, should the shim stack in the reg of the pmr 07 rattle when not aired up? Its just that my pmr isn't working just now so I'm questioning everything I'm not sure about...

Some hyper gegs do some dont, but its perfectly fine.
