PMI 3000psi fill issue

Having a couple of issues with my bottle whilst filling:

Dial jumps straight to 3000 litrally the second I put air into it, no quick fill im talking instantly.

So I turn the air off as something must be wrong and can hear the whorlds smallest ammount of air seeping out of the fill nipple.

So what do people think is wrong, just the nipple or a combination?

Dump the air, replace the gauge.

And the fill nipple leak may well be that it needs a certain psi to seal properly, so until you have a working gauge and can see how much is in there it's nothing major
