id the PMI 1.1L 5000psi Fibre Bottle with 800psi output going to be ok with a nexus eblade, or an ion, or will it just blow up.

cockers are high pressure guns so yes perfect for them. and as far as i know ions will run on anything.
with a low pressure on the ion though you may get some drop off.

thanks mate, im getting a nexus and have an ion so it's good i can use it in both. The reg dial only goes up to 300psi on the ion so i was worried.
just to certify, i use a PMI 800psi output on my ion and its works fine, only diffence is mines a 3000psi fill tank, doesnt effect anything though.
I have never heard of it happen before to anyone else, but i screwed in my preset on my ion and the reg was set for a low pressure when i came to me outta the factory. This didnt half piddle of the gauge when it recieved a full 800psi, and now its stuck all the way to the right

I sujjest you tighten the reg pretty much all the way in and work outwards from ther.

Matty, the input on an Ion doesn't change according to whether it's HP or LP - the main reg steps it down to 175 psi anyway, so whether its a LP bottle outputting at 400 or a HP at 800, it really doesn't make a lot of difference
Your prob is due to SP shipping Ions with the main reg (therefore velocity) set far too high, which is a cock up, not it being set for LP

"By piss the gauge off" i ment that the gauge was sent way further clockwise than it should have been and this distorted the little copper spring inside. That is why it's stuck to the right now.
