That’s one of the silliest things i have ever read.. Both brands are under the same umbrella, and with that in mind DYE has done everything to make sure that both brands excel at their targeted price points. Ultimately a DYE or Proto sale is irrelevant aslong as one of either brands are supported. It is all about focus of development.
DYE are still selling the PM8 and the pricing on that hasn't changed as it is an unreal amount of gun for that money. The DM9 is performing and selling incredibly well at its price point also.
DYE are committed fully to making this industry thrive, through our dealers, events and players; Putting more time and money than any other companies into R&D of fresh, exciting and ground breaking products. Hopefully people will be able to see this from the 2009 line ups already. Especially with the economy as it is, that has proved very rare in this industry for the new season, as most companies are shrinking back in for survival by saving money on the R&D side.
