to start with i dont know if this is in the right place so if not mod can you move it

i have a pm7 with a VL revolution eye force hopper, an di am using a pure energy 3000psi 48cu air bottle.

the problem i am having is that i am only getting about 400 balls out of this and if i put the bottle on my old marker (a standard blowback spyder old thing) i get about 700.

any reason why and is there anythign i could do to improve it as i dont have cash to buy a fiber unless it real cheap

You'll find your PM7 is a bit more thirsty than a blowback, but there are things you can do to improve shot count, take a look here;

I wouldn't bother cutting the bolt but the top hat mod will give you more shots at the cost of a higher operating pressure.

i had the same problem mate...

i got a promaster (and quickly sold it) a while back and that eats gas, soon as i changed to a 4.5k 1.1l tank i found after games i still had gas left, i got a smartparts bottle from here still good till 2011 with a mini max flow for £80

soon as i changed to the bigger bottle and 4.5 instead of 3 i was shooting 1k+ on 1 tank rather than having to walk out becuse i had no gas..

Your alternative is to get a pump :p

If it is new, it will need to bed-in a bit.

After it has a shot a few thousand balls, or shots if you're brave, strip it down and clean and re-lube the bolt and reg etc.

Don't go silly with the lube and use DOW33 (AKA shocker lube).

Then reset your regs and set the marker up.

You want to get it running at a consistent velocity, then up a couple of blips on the dwell, then set your final velocity with the reg.

That way, it should be fairly soft on paint, not too kicky and gas efficient (more so, at least).
