PM7 turn on pfft pfft

My new PM7 when I turn it on is going giving a lack of air sound effect for the first few shots, like its trying to come up to speed. I've changed the battery, (the usual Ion issue.....my last marker was an Ion,) but its still doing it. I have half a tank of air so its not a low air issue (as far as I can tell.)

Any idea's ?

Was it cold when you tried it.

In cold weather you need to up the dwell a couple of points and the lpr a little.

Don't overlube the bolt either.

Hi

Is the gun entirely as stock? Have you adjusted the LPR or Hyper2 at all?
Check your ABS is turned on, and as Gassy said, as the Winter is drawing in now, you may need to up your dwell a tad, or increase the LPR pressure (unless it is still stock, this should be fine - you shouldnt need to go above 5 turns)

What lube are you using?

Thanks all :) PM'd you back Ray thanks :)

Nope it was indoors in the warm, after the first few shots its ok. Its like a car trying to start on a cold morning, the first few tries it struggles to turn over then it turns over fine and its all hunky dory :)

It has a low pressure 1.1 litre crossfire air tank on it.

have you tried a HP tank on it? i dunno if it would be an issue but might be worth eliminating all the variables. i know PM's should run on both hp and lp but surely weather conditions would affect the setup

Dow33 all the way for me. We supply Dow with the guns, I use dow when repairing guns. Nexus use Dow33 too (Specifically 'Monkey Spunk', from Slothstuff) and we have no problems.

I find Dow33 to be the most consistent, regardless of temperature, humidity, rain or dry. Just dont over lube your gun.
