Under the bed...
Right, the PM7 i have has an eye problem. When the gun is turned on the eyes go green indicating there is something in the breach. There isnt! The eye cable is securely fastened, the battery is brand new (tried a few new ones) and the board still cycles with eyes off. The breach is clean, as are the eye sensors.

What can i do?

Do PM7's with a virue board take dm6 eye cables?

Does anyone in london city have a spare set of dm6 or pm7 eye cables?

Please help!

Have you taken the tiny bit of plastic of the eyes themselves? There may be something between the eye and the small bit of perspex.

Clean the groove where the eye wires sit with a cotton bud. The eye wires havent been damaged? (Pinched maybe?)

Hi

If you are happy that everything is clean, and connected properly, and the eyes still are not functioning, then it means that the ribbon itself is damaged somewhere, and you will need to purchase a replacement set of eyes.

DM6 eyes will not fit in the PM7 as the diode is a different shape.

If you would like to purchase a new set of eyes, e-mail me eurotech@dyeprecision.com for more details.

Thanks

It would appear that the eye ribbon has snagged and one of the connections has been severed. Now i just need a new set of eyes!

Anyone able to help with that in London today?
