pm7 and pm8 back cap

hoya guys iv just got a colour set for a pm8 and wanted to fit the part to my pm7 but the bck cap doesnt seem to fit right in to the top hat. it only just doesnt fit but i dont want to put to much pressure on it cause i dont know how to get hold of a new top hat if i messed it up. does anyone know if they should fit?

I tried the same, they are not compatable. Proto did make some colour kits for the pm7, may be an idea to contact Dye to see if they have the colour your after.

aww rubbish. thats wel annoying. oh wel guess ill have to get the stock parts annoed thanks for the info foot
