The NSPL Factory Team, Cynergy, use them at Division 1 Millennium level and they rock. Easy to maintain, clean and tech. They look fantastic, are small and light, and fast as anything else out there.

You can't go wrong with the Proto Matrix. They have just recently come down in price too, so you'll be winning all round if you invest in one of these.

Having not owned an Ego as a player, I couldn't say. However, I've owned Shockers, Angels, and Impys. And the PM6 is as easy if not easier to maintain than any of those. They are very similar in their design as the Shocker, so de-gass the gun, take the bolt out of the back, clean and lube and off you go again.

If you want to play UK-Masters or i guess most tourney series you will have to upgrade the board as it cannot be capped in semi, even with the UL frame there is no way to cap the ROF.

what with ul frame you cant capp it to 15bps?
Not in semi, only ramping.
I looked into it for my PM5 and decided just to buy a virtue board for the stock frame instead.
The UL board can be flashed by Tadao and others but stock it's not capped in semi, unless you turn the eyes off :(
