any suggestions? found a collar on just paintball but thats about it. unless the collar does the same job?

The collars should drop onto the same fitting,they replace the stock collar.

I've got a dye low rise feedneck on mine. The hole that the feedneck fits into is a lot deeper than the newer ones so that's the only one I could get to fit. It's one of the twist lock types.

thats the thing there is not stock collar, its just all neck on there at the moment.

is there a ridge half way up the neck, running all the way around?

internal surface feels smooth, from the outside looks like any other neck, narrow at bottom then bigger where hoper goes in. no slices in it to contract with a collar.
