PM5 Bolt O-rings

Hi Guys,

My PM5 has developed a bit of a problem, when firing the top hat no.13 o-ring has taken to jumping out of its seat and moving forward leading to all my air rushing out.
I've changed the no.13 top hat o-ring twice now and the front, rear bumper o-rings and the bolt sail on the bolt.

Any ideas what's causing it?

Check your reg seats for deep indents, if they are flip them over and reset your regs, it sounds like your gun is over-pressurized.

Alternatively try some tougher orings.

sorry stupid question. you are using air arnt you ,not co2. sounds like you are freezing the o rings

Hi

The most likely reason the o-ring is jumping out of its seat is because you are running the pressure too high.

You will almost definitely have to replace the number 017 o-ring in the cylinder section of the bolt assembly.

Next you will need to check the reg seat inside your Hyper2, there is a high chance that the seat will have a deep circular groove in it, if this is the case then you will need to replace the seat, or alternatively flip it over if you have not got a spare.

Finally, double check that your bolt tip o-ring is in good condition for consistent velocity.
