pm5 and pm7 eyes

does anyone know if pm7 eyes are the same as the ones used in the pm5. i know the pm6 are but i'm not sure about the 7.

i snagged a wire and thus need a replacement set. if they're not does anyone know where i can get a set of pm5 ones. i know sloth paintball have the large pm5 repair kit in which i think you get some but thats a lot of money just for one part that i need

any help would be much appreciated cheers

i did this with the ego, i've never taken a pm apart tho, but if you can completely remove the eyes from the bored, solder the wire back together, and wrap it in some electritians tape (sp i know) it saves some money

The pm eyes are a ribbon connection not a wire like ego's timmy'setc, re-soldering is nigh on impossible

yeah i know....its a bitch, it so annoying that it happened, i was just finishing up completely stripping, cleaning and lubing the marker, one momentary lapse in concentration and a whole world of trouble. its only my back up marker so i should have a while to get it fixed before i'll need it, its still annoying though. worse come to worse i suppose i can ask at the tech tent at millenium

no mate the pm7 has a 4 wire ribbon were as the pm5+6 have a 3 wire ribbon.

In my opinion the pm5/6 eyes are the worst eyes going, always have bother with mine, whether its frost from the barrel during rapit fire or even due from the grass it makes the light blink, just wondered if anyone could recomend any non stock eyes that would behave better please?
