Right bought an 05 xsv ego put paint in it today and it just about fires a ball 10ft iv tried researching but cannot understand why its doing this I really need some basic help iv read the manual but im pulling my hair out here
please help a newbie on an ego

What have you tried so far?
The first few things that spring to mind are:
1) Is there much air in your tank? once a HPA tank gets to about 1,000psi it starts to spit them out
2) Have you adjusted both the Regulator and LPR Regulator with an allen key so they let more air through (Righty Tighty Lefty Loosey)
3) Tried putting in a fresh battery?
4) Have you looked at cleaning out the Regulators? If there is loads of dirt and filth in there then it can affect performance (Note, be careful with the washers when taking apart the inline regulator, as they need to go in a specific patterned order (See manual on how to dismantle and rearrange them)
5) Also check to see if the rammer and bolt are properly oiled up and fitted with the correct Orings, if these arn't done then it can cause more friction and potentially cause the rammer to get stuck

Right took it apart and the hpr shims seemed to be in wrong so iv cleaned lubed and refitted those, Iv removed the bolt and rammer and checked and lubed appropriate parts, unwound the lpr to flush and sent it back in 2 turns and fitted a brand new duracell battery. Im going to go NPF tommorow and refill my bottle and grab some paint aswell to see if its any better.
If all that fails whats next ??
And Medic ill probably end up taking you up on thatt offer.

If you're at NPF tomorrow, ask if you can just put some paint over the chrono. There should be someone there who might have a look at it for you.

Ill ask them mate my only dread is if the qev is dead, if so a paypal claim will be going in asap as Ill never find one
Planet will have QEV's that will work may need to change the Lp hosing that's all or the diaphragm which is more common.
