most pants have velcro ties and have a size to them - what size are you as Im just about to create a thread for some pants and tops so keep your keys open.
I am a 38 waist I know manufactures vary in there sizes , according to one I am a large and another a xl ,

Weird as my team mate had the XL set and I could just get them on but nothing else and the 2XL were too big, had to use braces in the end.

Now we have moved the Valken and I have 2XL pants and they fit like a glove.
