Hullo there peoples.

With uni finally over and done with I can now start the first tentative steps to playing ball once again. Unfortunately at the moment I don't have a stable enough cash flow to be able to afford to try and commit to a team for the rest of the year.

I desperately need to play and was wondering if any teams out there need a player to complete their 7man squad for this weekend's Ancaster event?

As I said, I have been out of ball for a few months now but last year I played and trained very regularly with my team at the time SPG Spirit. Although we were a new team last year we played very well and had numerous top 3 finishes throughout our existence as well as being able to hold our own at Toulouse.

My skills are no doubt rather rusty but what I want is to be able to feel the rush of playing tourney ball once again. I'm not a short guy but I'd say my mix of abilities best suit me to a mid/insert position. At last check my snap-shooting skills were pretty good and I can handle my marker rather well in my left hand as well as my native right. I also have a rather big gob so I can do some shouting if that is what is needed.

I have all my own equipment as well as a car available so that I can get to the site bright and early on Sunday for field walking and whatever else may be required. Also there is a high likelihood that i will be able to supply my own Draxxus paint via the the site I work for, this is still to be confirmed but could be arranged if required.

If you require my services then please drop me a PM or an email at
pbrozyna (AT) hotmail.com obviously insert @ sign where appropriate, i don't want spam bots to find my address.

Cheers

Thanks very much for the numerous offers guys, I was very flattered that some teams might actually want me to guest with them for the day.

After a very kind offer from smartecosse I'm gonna be playing for PICTS. I can't wait to experience such things as the crack of dawn drives to the fields, pale sleep deprived players stumbling from their cars to the staging area, blurry and rambling field walking antics while getting wet from dew covered grass, the smell of burgers, the sound of air fills mixed with the screams of people blowing up their markers (usually me) and of course that incredible 10 second of pure adrenaline that you have before game-on is called on your first game.

Can you tell that I can't wait to be back playing? :D

Unfortunatly in my case that 10sec count down is usually
followed by a 3sec stumble up field (my team mates think
Im some kind of front player because they've seen me run,
once) before being shot in the head and taking the
ooooooooo soooooooo long walk of the field rubbing my
bonce and thinking "Waa.....?".

Im with you Broz there could not be a better way to spend
100 pounds (these ozy keyboards dont have the pound sign!?!?)
on a wet Brittish sunday

;) :D

God, i really hope it isn't wet on sunday with the recent spat of awesome weather continuing. The tourney was awesome last year, amazing weather, great level of ball, awesome atmosphere and I played out of my skin (got me a mention in PBUK, woot!).

Cya there!... I'll be the tall geeky looking guy with the shiny blue impulse guesting for PICTS, probably falling over a lot in the middle of the field.
