I've seen anywhere from 16 to 40 year old players. I am 20 . I've been playing rec ball for about 2 years now. I am still trying to hone my skills before I get into tournaments. I still have a while .
pfffft i'm 16 and played my first game at like 13. being 13 and playing sucks because people have a physical advantage over you, but if you are reasonably fit then youth is an advantage, because it is harder to go out and get slaughtered the night before then have a bad hang over the next day.
DISCLAIMER:
there is no document or video evidence of me doing this, therefore as i can't remember it never took place
I have seen players range from 12 to mid 40's. Even some pro teams have players under 16. Our team ranges from 19 to 27 with years of experience ranging from 1 year to 8 years. That is the great thing about the sport. Anyone can play it.
My son is now 10, he started playing when he was 8. He is too young to play tournaments here in Norway so he has to wait at least 2 years. That he is not happy about
Iam only 16, just started into it proper now because i cna get a weekend job to supply my needs, but i have seen kids well below my age playing. (And well, better'n me and better kitted out)
I'm only 15. The field I play at it seems 15 is pretty much the median age. There are usually a lot of 13-16 year olds, and then the adults make up the other half.
